RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We want our products to meet or exceed your expectations. Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. However, should you need to ask for a refund or exchange, we will take care of it within 30 days of purchase for a product in its original, unopened condition. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately after your package arrives. Returns need to be shipped prepaid. Should a return or exchange be necessary, we hope you will share a reason to help us learn how to best meet your needs in the future. A refund on shipping charges due to damaged or defective merchandise will be determined on a case by case basis.

ORDERING ONLINE:

Ordering Online with us is safe and secure! We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure. A note about the Fair Credit Billing Act. Under this act, your bank limits your total loss and cannot hold you liable for more than fifty dollars of reported fraudulent charges. In the event your credit card is used in a fraudulent manner, you must notify your bank or card issuer immediately and in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site.

PAYMENT
On our website, Betty’s Tasty Buttons accepts PayPal, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. At our retail store, Betty’s Speakeasy, events and markets, we accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

To order online by check:
If you wish you may send us a U.S. Postal Money Order (only) or a personal check. Personal checks will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. To order by check, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page, complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to Betty’s Tasty Buttons, 2241 Grays Ferry Ave. No.1, Philadelphia, PA 19146.

SHIPPING
Orders are generally shipped within 2-3 business days (Monday through Thursday). During busy holiday times, orders may take up to 5 days to process.
Orders placed and received in our system after 3pm on Thursday through Sunday are processed in the order in which they are received and will generally ship out between Monday and Wednesday, of the following week, depending on order volume. During busy holiday times, orders may take up to 5 days to process.
Advance orders are welcome and will be shipped on the day specified by the customer. To place an advance order, specify the shipping date in the "Special Instructions" section on the checkout page.
We ship across the continental United States using UPS or USPS Priority Mail, which delivers Tuesday through Saturday and takes 1 to 3 business days depending on your location.
When your order leaves our kitchen, we will email you a tracking number so you can check on the delivery. Shipping charges are calculated based on order weight.
Betty’s Tasty Buttons will not be responsible for temperature damage to packages shipped over a weekend.
• Betty’s Tasty Buttons is not responsible for shipping delays caused by DHL, Fed Ex or any other shipping service due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
• All orders require a street address and phone number and may not be shipped to P.O. boxes. Please make sure someone will be at home to accept the package. Packages may not be left at the delivery address without a signature.
• Betty’s Tasty Buttons will not be responsible for packages that are returned to us as undeliverable - the customer will still be charged. If a returned package needs to be shipped out a second time, the customer will incur a second shipping charge.

Weather conditions and delivery area will dictate how orders are packed for shipping. During the colder winter months, orders being sent to cold weather states may ship in non-insulated boxes and/or without gel packs, depending on the weather conditions at the time of shipment. Orders being shipped to warm weather states and during the summer months are generally packed in insulated pouches or coolers with gel packs.

How orders are processed:

Orders shipped via overnight delivery are generally shipped Monday through Thursday only. If you would like your items shipped out on Friday using overnight shipping, please specify that when placing your order. Be aware that orders shipped overnight on Friday will not reach their destination until the following Monday. To choose Friday shipping, specify the shipping date in the "Special Instructions" section on the checkout page.

Please be aware that by choosing to ship over a weekend, you are assuming responsibility for the integrity of the package as it will be in transit longer than recommended. Betty’s Tasty Buttons will not be responsible for temperature damage to packages shipped over a weekend.

If you would like your items shipped out on Thursday or Friday using 2nd day shipping, please specify that when placing your order. Be aware that orders shipped via 2nd day air on Thursday or Friday will not reach their destination until the following Monday or Tuesday.
